This special, temporary display complements "Dale Nichols: Transcending Regionalism" and features images of the Midwest by American artists. The works are drawn from the permanent collection of the Georgia Museum of Art as well as from objects on extended loan to the museum from the collection of Jason Schoen, Princeton, N.J. These American Scene images of the Midwest provide an aesthetic and historical context for Nichols' paintings.
